COMPANY HISTORY

Source One Real Estate, established in July, 2006, is an independent company providing residential and commercial real estate sales to individuals, small businesses, large corporations, non-profit organizations, home builders and developers throughout Northwest Indiana. The location of our offices at 855 East North Street in Crown Point, Indiana was selected since Crown Point is the seat of Lake County which provides easy access to neighboring counties in Indiana including the south suburbs of Chicago. After much thought Roger Lain and Joe Gambril, Source One’s founders, with their combined over 24 years of combined experience in real estate sales and rich history of providing outstanding customer service decided to enter the marketplace as broker owners. Roger and Joe felt this was a strategic move since they are reputable agents with over 12 years combined experience mentoring new agents and an outstanding previous company sales record which includes being in a #1 team and #6 individual in company sales respectively and out of over 700 agents. Roger, Source One’s principal broker is a top producing veteran by all industry standards having been associated with the same firm for 15 of his 16 years selling real estate. He realizes the value of honesty in relationships relying on mostly referral and repeat business throughout the years. Every day, Roger lives by a “results not promises” motto to maintaining effectiveness in the highly competitive real estate marketplace and instills the same values in every associate at Source One. Joe, an over 8 year member of the real estate community, started selling commercial real estate in 1999, then later turning to mostly selling new and existing homes in 2001. He also has a secondary focus of design/construction of new homes and historic landmark preservation. Today Joe sells new and existing residential and commercial property, plans for new commercial projects and is in charge of training and implementation at Source One.
